Tell me about yourself.

My name is Jennifer and I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in Chicago and moved to Missouri in 2017. I am a daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, best friend and wife! I am someone you can always count on and always there for anything. I became a Licensed Real Estate Agent in 2018 and I am loving it! These past couple of months I've been taking care of myself and always putting myself first.

How has your photo shoot experience shaped how you view yourself?

The photo shoot experience was amazing and I view myself with more admiration, love, and appreciation. It is amazing what Kelsey can do with her camera I was in complete shock when I saw the final result! I knew it was going to be amazing but the feeling when you are there choosing the photos is indescribable. Every photo was amazing!

What message would you like to give other women that are going through a difficult time in life and might not feel worthy?

Remind yourself that you are a strong woman. Don’t let people mistreat you or sit around feeling sorry for yourself. You are in control in life and can achieve anything! Keep going, don’t let others put you down. You are worthy.

What advice would you give your younger self?

The advice I would give my younger self would be that everything will be okay and to never let someone’s perception determine who I am.

What would you tell other women about stepping out of their comfort zone and doing a photo shoot?

You are probably rolling your eyes at every “Just do it!” post. Because that is exactly what I did, I thought to myself “Just do it? I don’t think they understand the anxiety I go through doing these kinds of things!” I was very close to just canceling everything and even okay with losing my deposit because I DID NOT want to do it. But I knew deep down I scheduled this for a reason because it’s something I should DO. I am worthy. I wanted to feel like all of the woman in the pictures that are posted on Kelsey’s Facebook page. I wondered what that was all about. And now I know, so I can also tell you to just do it! Because it’s so worth it and you get to hold on to these pictures forever and show it off to everyone you know. They are amazing I can’t get over the quality! I’ve never had a photo shoot by myself so this was by far the most amazing experience. Thank you Kelsey!
