Stand in for Hope Photoshoot Guide
I’m so excited to photograph you and be part of this powerful campaign! Below is everything you need to feel confident and prepared for your session.
What to Wear
All portraits will be black + white, so focus on texture and shape over color.
Choose ONE outfit—your preferred style!
• Business (blazer, blouse, structured pieces)
• Glamour (elegant dress, statement sleeves, bold shapes)
• Casual (sweater, denim, relaxed but elevated)
Sequins and shiny materials always photograph well.
Bring ONE backup outfit in a different style
This helps ensure each ambassador has a unique look and provides options depending on what photographs best.
Arrive wearing your primary outfit, with your backup pressed, on a hanger, and ready to swap if needed.
Tips
• Avoid distracting prints or logos
• Solid tones, layers, and flattering silhouettes photograph beautifully
• Necklines + sleeve details add great visual interest in B&W
Hair and Makeup
Please arrive camera-ready.
Come as YOU — but think:
Your everyday look, slightly elevated
Suggestions:
• Soft glam makeup or clean, polished natural
• A little extra mascara, defined brows, and a smooth complexion
• Hair in a style you feel confident in — curled, straightened, or textured
Optional: bring touch-up powder or lip color.
Background and Lighting
I’ll determine your background and lighting based on what complements:
• your outfit
• your pose + facial structure
• the emotional tone of your story
