I help corporate high achievers gain energy to do the work they love without burning out. I am a global executive health coach with 20+ years in global retail and shipping plus certifications from the International Association of Health Coaches, Institute of Integrative Nutrition and the Gallup organization in Clifton Strengths and Builder Profile. I am also a yoga teacher who enjoys connecting with beginners in all seasons of life.
What got you interested in coaching?
Coaches and mentors have been an integral part of my success as a corporate executive. Accomplishing my life goals of living and working in at least 3 different countries with the biggest and best global teams - at Maersk, Home Depot, Walmart and the New York Shipping Exchange- all with my health and marriage in excellent states, all before turning 40 created the opening for me to do more of what I love - guiding people to learn, love and live from their strengths in their personal and professional lives.
Who are your ideal clients and how do you work with them?
Most of my clients are corporate high-achievers who are between burnout and breakthrough - both of which are powerful vantage points in the journey of our life's work. I have coached clients in sabbatical, in between significant professional transitions and as well as in personal transformation. They already have a proven record of investing in professional development. They find me when they are ready to partner with a human coach to help them get clear on what their unique and healthy work-life integrity looks like. They are ready to do their best work, sustainably help others and have an impact in their communities and the world. They are ready to be vulnerable to experiment and be witnessed as they build practices that help them achieve all they set out to accomplish.
My clients lead with their goals, and we work closely virtually so it fits easily into their hectic schedules anywhere. I curate their strengths-based, whole-person focused path to guide them as they gain clarity and energy to do the work they love without burning out. We dive into replenishing the body, reviving creativity, releasing stress and reclaiming the mind. There is plenty of accountability and support, so they know exactly what to do to get on the other side of this. The most important thing is that we get results.
What is the most fulfilling part of your work?
Coaching and mentoring were also my favorite parts of the corporate life...so I always knew I would fully commit to this work someday. Getting to do this work now - earlier than traditional retirement age (67?) - is deeply fulfilling. Becoming an executive health coach is my unique path to combine my corporate, international experiences with my growing knowledge of health and wellness to support high-achieving global leaders so they can better serve their teams and customers. Healthy executives are critical to healthy economies and societies. That work is lonely, stressful and not sustainable without a commitment to holistic health.
Can you share a specific success story of a client that you worked with?
Confidentiality is critical to honor the work I get to do with my executive clients. I can share that one of my clients engaged me to support her sabbatical. She rewarded herself with a sabbatical after more than a decade co-founding and then supporting the sale of a multi-million-dollar Series B technology company. We worked through the exhaustion, stress and identity-crisis that clouded the beginning of her sabbatical. She committed to discovering her best self, meeting her strengths and embraced the body, spirit, heart and mind approach we took. Three months later, she emerged confidently having healthier habits, reconnected to her creativity and claimed her strengths. She has also expanded her professional networks, given back significantly to communities and is currently building her next business!
